1. What Vision2020 Gap are you filling?

Growth of Jainism

2.  What problem are you solving?

Lack of awareness about Jainism among general public and lost faith in Jainism among Jain students.

3.  Why are you solving it?

This will help build an on going forum at Chicago GSB that promotes the Jainism values. This will also help me hone my leadership skills and also provide networking opportunities to students who are interested in Jain values.

4.  What is your solution?

Create a student led group at Chicago GSB initially and expand it further to the university and other Chicago based universities. Use the branding of the school to promote the Jaina values.

5.  Who is your target audience? Where is it applicable?

Jain and non-jain MBA students initially and later will expand to other graduate students.

It is applicable to Graduate students.

6.  Has a related  problem been solved? Where? By Who? Can you partner with someone?

Don’t know.

7.  Resources Needed

nPeople / Volunteers:

Like minded students at Chicago GSB, faculty members interested in the cause, research scholars that may be pursuing study of Jainism, renowned Jain business leaders to act as speakers

nConsultants / Suppliers / Services: (Example: Web, publishing, brochure, etc.)

Web: too create group’s website

nFinancial: How much $ you will require

$500 - $1000

8. What type of talent do you need?  Do you have the right team?  Are you the right leader?

Graduate students with passion to lead in general and also promote Jain values.

No real team as yet. I think I can lead, however the biggest challenge is getting support from the GSB and finding critical mass of students to join the group.

9.  How will you create awareness and promote the project?

Launch a promotional event with a renowned Jain business leader as a keynote speaker.

10.  How will get the funding?

Initially through “JAINA” may be. Later through the student members as membership fees.

11.  What are the first 100 day, 200 day, 300 day milestones? How will the product be sustained?

100 day – host one guest lecture as a promotional event

200 day – have at least 5 dedicated student members

300 day  - host at least 2 more social networking events
